PocketHost — App
A mobile platform that lets users host dedicated Minecraft servers directly from Android devices without port forwarding or desktop hardware.

The Challenge
Minecraft server hosting is typically tied to desktop hardware, manual Java setup, and router port forwarding, making self-hosting difficult on Android devices and cellular networks.
Our Solution
Built a native Android app with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose that launches bundled ARM64 OpenJDK runtimes through a JNI launcher, paired with a Node.js TCP/UDP relay network for zero-configuration connectivity and Geyser integration for Bedrock cross-play.
Results
Enabled dedicated Minecraft server hosting directly on Android devices
Eliminated the need for router port forwarding through a relay network
Integrated Bedrock cross-play support with Geyser
Delivered a mobile-first hosting experience with a native Android interface
